Hyaluron (MD-Codes)
Gently fill the volume, refine contours, and smooth transitions – naturally dosed, precisely placed, and adjusted to your facial harmony.
Overview of the treatment
The most important facts

Treatment Duration: approx. 15–40 min. (depending on the area)
Anesthesia: none/cream/cooling (products often contain lidocaine)
Control/Fine-tuning: after 10–14 days

Suitable if...
You want to compensate for volume loss (cheeks/upper lip area) or contour deficits (chin, jawline).
Hollow appearance/transitions (tear trough, nasolabial/marionette zone) are bothering you.
You desire a natural, measured result with short recovery.
Abstaining from smoking, sun protection, and realistic expectations are required.
Note: We primarily treat dynamically expressive wrinkles (forehead/glabella/crow's feet) with Botulinum – fillers complement volume/structure.
Our method: MD-Codes®
What is this?
MD Codes® are not a product, but a structured treatment methodology for hyaluronic fillers – developed by Dr. Mauricio de Maio. Based on defined injection points along anatomical lines, the face is planned according to proportions, support zones, and transitions. The goal is a natural, harmonious result – without "overfilling".
Why is the methodology so special?
Analysis instead of chance: third/fifth proportions, profile axes, skin thickness.
Priorities: first support (e.g., cheekbone/chin/jawline), then contour (edges/contours), lastly refinement (transitions like tear trough/lip fine structure).
Precise & dosed: small deposits in the correct plane/depth, often with a blunt cannula – for soft, planable contours.
Natural & proportional: volume where it supports – not simply "more".
Typical application areas
Cheek projection, chin/jawline, temples, tear trough, nasolabial/marionette zone, lip shape (red part/contour).

Process – Step by Step
Consultation
We discuss wishes and concerns, analyze proportions, facial expressions and skin, define area/target intensity and explain possibilities & limits – calmly and transparently.
Preparation
Photo documentation, marking while sitting, skin disinfection; depending on the area cooling/anesthetic cream. Instructions for behavior immediately after the treatment.
Treatment/Surgery
Targeted injections with needle or blunt cannula; slow deposits/linear technique, gentle shaping without pressure. Selection of the gel suitable for depth/region; immediate control in the mirror.
First aftercare
On the day of the treatment no massage, no sauna/intense sports (24 hours), head upright for a few hours; cooling if necessary. Control/fine-tuning after 10–14 days.
Healing process
After 24–48 hours, swelling and injection marks usually subside.
After 10–14 days, the result is calm and balanced – fine-tuning if necessary.
The effect typically lasts 6–18 months and diminishes gradually.

Risks & Safety
Temporarily, redness, swelling, bruising, and sensitivity are possible. Asymmetries/irregularities can usually be corrected (modeling/tweaking). Rarely, nodules/hardening, Tyndall effect (bluish tint from overly superficial injection), or infections may occur. Very rarely, vascular complications arise – we minimize the risk through anatomically safe planes, appropriate tool selection (cannula/needle), pressure-aware injection, and keep hyaluronidase on hand.
Important are sun protection, no pressure/rubbing on the day of treatment, and patience until the check-up. During pregnancy/breastfeeding, we do not treat. If warning signs occur (severe pain, paleness, vision problems), please contact us immediately – you have a clear emergency pathway.

Combinations & Alternatives (optional)
Botulinum for expression lines (Forehead/Glabella/Crow's feet)
Skin Treatments (Peels/Laser/Medical Skincare) for texture/glow
Autologous fat for larger volumes (long-term)
Surgical options (Brow lift/Eyelid surgery/Facelift), if structural lifting is needed
