Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)
Lift lowered eyebrows, open the gaze, and harmonize the upper facial frame - precise, natural, and tailored to your proportions.
Overview of the treatment
The most important facts

Surgery Duration: approx. 1–2 hours
Sociable: usually after 7–10 days

Suitable if...
the brows are deeply set and hooded eyelids intensify or weigh down the gaze.
They often raise their forehead to appear "more open" (tension/headache possible).
They desire a calm, natural lift – without artificial effect.
Note: Pure forehead wrinkles are primarily not "surgically removed" – here additional botulinum/skin treatments can help.
Methods & Variants
Endoscopic Brow Lift
Multiple small incisions in the hair; the brow is gently released and lifted with a camera, fixation in the new position. Advantage: short incisions, quick recovery.
Temporal (lateral) Brow Lift
Short incisions in the temple region; focused lifting of the outer brow/temple – ideal for lateral brow depression, feminine eye shape.
Open Techniques (frontal hairline / coronal)
Long incision at the frontal hairline or over the crown (rarely): for pronounced depression or for hairline correction; indication selectively, scar management is carefully planned.
Internal Brow Fixation (Browpexy)
Through the upper eyelid access (in combined upper eyelid surgery) the brow can be subtly supported; small effect, minimal additional effort.
Which variant makes sense will be determined by brow shape, skin/hairline, forehead length, and desired effect – goal: natural & proportional.

Process – Step by Step
Consultation
We discuss wishes and concerns, analyze brow status, forehead length, skin quality and the impact on the upper eyelids. We explain possibilities/limits of the methods, the healing process, and clarify questions – calmly and transparently.
Preparation
Photo documentation, exact marking while sitting (brow shape/vectors), surgical explanation. Notes on blood thinners, cessation of smoking, sleeping position (head elevated), cooling, and organization of daily life during the first days.
Treatment/Surgery
Depending on the technique, small cuts in the hair/temple (or front hairline), gentle removal and lifting of the brow(s), fixation in the desired position. Tension-free closure, bandaging/cooling according to plan.
Initial Aftercare
Targeted cooling intervals, head elevation, rest. Wash hair carefully (after clearance), thread/clamp removal according to plan, sun protection for the scars. Light activity after a few days, sports gradually after clearance.
Healing process
After one week, swelling/bruising usually decreases significantly; everyday activities are possible.
After two weeks, the area appears socially acceptable; residual swelling decreases.
After one to three months, sensation and expression normalize; scars fade.
After six to twelve months, the final result becomes visible.

Risks & Safety
In the short term, swelling, bruising, a feeling of tension, pressure/headache, as well as temporary changes in sensation in the forehead/hairline region may occur. Specifically, asymmetries, under- or over-correction, scar/hairline changes, irritation of small nerves (usually reversible), or hematomas are possible. We reduce risks through precise marking, tissue-conserving preparation, safe fixation, low-tension closure, and clear aftercare (cooling, head elevation, load control).
Important are quitting smoking, avoiding blood thinners after consultation, and sun protection for the scars. If warning signs occur (severe unilateral swelling/pain, fever, vision/sensitivity problems), please report immediately – you have a clear emergency pathway.

Combinations & Alternatives (optional)
Upper eyelid lift (with additional skin excess on the upper lid)
Botulinum for forehead/glabellar relaxation (additionally)
Facelift/Temporal lift as part of a larger contour correction
Skin treatments (laser/peels) for fine wrinkles/pigmentation
